The Shootz story

Writing about us? Everything you need is here — boilerplate, fast facts, and brand assets. For interviews, filming, or partnerships, we’re one email away.

About Shootz

Shootz means “sounds good, let’s go.” We’re a Hawaiian-Asian fusion kitchen born in Southern California, where island plate-lunch tradition meets SoCal’s restless, flavor-obsessed energy.

It started with one move: butter whipped with garlic and kimchi, brushed over crispy katsu. That Kimchi Butter became the reason folks drive across town — and the foundation for everything on the menu, from the Katsu Sando to the Spam Brûlée Musubi.

Today Shootz serves five Southern California neighborhoods from Stanton to Whittier, caters events from office lunches to weddings, and runs a rewards app that hands out free food like family. A sixth location — our first standalone — is on the way at The Canopy at Great Park in Irvine.
